The Urban League Young Professionals
of Middle Tennessee is an auxiliary unit of the Urban League
of Middle Tennessee. We are part of a 200+ member strong
groups that is comprised of key local talent, ages 21 to
40, who are committed to corporate, social and community
activism as well as to improving Middle Tennessee’s
African American and minority business climate through
networking and business development. ULYPMT is one of 42
chapters of the National Urban League Young Professionals
(NULYP), which serves as the umbrella organization under
the National Urban League to support the League’s
5 point empowerment agenda:
- Education & Youth Empowerment
- Economic Empowerment
- Health and Quality of Life
- Civic Engagement & Leadership Empowerment
- Civil Right & Social Justice
